"I'm looking for a book for..." part 2

My go-to after a long day of mom-ing, working, wife-ing, and all the things is an easy, breezy romance novel. The mindless the better (not to say some of these books are not beautifully written, because many of them are!). I like to zone out after the kids' bedtime and a love story is usually the perfect fit.

Presenting the second installment of "I'm looking for a book for..." series. Being a former school librarian, a lot of my friends text me for book recommendations. So today I'm sharing a common one I get from the amazing girlfriends in my life: "I'm looking for a book for an escape after a long week of work."

My recommendation? Pretty much anything by Emily Henry. I read her new book, Happy Place on audiobook on a recent drive to see my best girlfriends (we went to Sun Valley, ID and had the BEST weekend). This book was great! I especially liked the narrators who read both voices of the MMC and MFC (main male character and main female character). And the twist on the fake dating trope was golden. Highly recommended!!

Happy reading!
